Providing care with a focus on you and your family’s needs.
As a homebirth midwife, I provided care that fostered low-risk pregnancy and natural birth at home. Family-based care in your own home created an environment of trust and understanding until 2018, when I retired from primary care to provide lactation support.
No need for an elaborate birth plan at home because your personal preferences have been made clear in your prenatal visits. I would be with you — from active labor until you are settled with baby

Maternity care is often begun before parents have really started to understand the issues, ask questions and evaluate options. Take time to carefully explore all options, including homebirth, before settling on what’s going to be right for you. Transfer of care to a planned homebirth in the second half of pregnancy is not unusual.
