In-Home Breastfeeding Help ~ Over 25 years experience
I have helped hundreds of women with latch-on, especially when suffering with sore nipples in the first days and weeks after birth.
I am pleased to be able to offer in-home lactation support. All the helpful advice you received in the first few days can get lost in the busy first weeks. I can come to your home to help you and your baby with positioning tips to assist you in achieving a more comfortable latch.

Labor Support (for planned hospital birth)
My own birth experiences include the hospital, a freestanding birth center, and a homebirth. I understand the decision-making process around choosing a birth place and provider. I want to help you experience the simplicity of normal birth, keep your baby with you, and minimize the need for high-tech obstetrics.
Labor support includes:
- prenatal consultation
- attendance at labor, birth and first hour postpartum
- postpartum visit
My specialty is natural birth. I have helped over 300 women and their partners through labor and birth. Most at home, but many in the hospital. A difficult labor may call for IV pain medication or an epidural; I have experience in offering support to laboring women in these situations.
Fear causes pain, labor support is the best medicine for fear.
In-Home Newborn Screening
I am happy to make a house call to do the newborn screening test. The baby can remain in your arms for testing. The pace is slow and is respectful of you and your baby’s needs. Mothers are encouraged to breastfeed the baby during the test to minimize stress.
